Very nice pics BikerDoc. What kind of camera & lens did you use?

I've been a Nikon user for more years than I care to recall...so the change-over from print to digital was a natural. I'm currently using a Nikon D80 with a Sigma 105mm macro....the nikkor lens was just too costly!

They sure like eating orchid flowers and young shoots or leaves. Sometimes I have found that they ate the fresh root tips. Definitely NOT a good guest to have among an orchid collection. They are also more active at night and can cause quite alot of damage within a short time. My pigmy hedgehog definitely loves eating them as a regular treat and change from crickets or locusts.

That monster is not just perched on that flower to smell the aroma. You better believe that they eat flowers!
