Just waiting for spring
Since I'm in the Northern latitudes, I'm just waiting between spikes for new blooms. I was thinking of a contest (but figured Marco would pad it ) I have a Bllra in bloom and double spike. I have a NOID Phal in beginning spike. I have a harallea in bud (go figure!) and everything else is either just growing new roots or resting, waiting for spring. Even my "Christmas Cactus" has decided to be a "Easter Cactus". I thrive on photos right now, 'cause that's all there is. Wendy....

Spring definately seems a loooong ways off. Beyond a blooming S.cernua, I am awaiting spikes as well. One Phal in spike and one L.millerii with four spikes! But the millerii is taking a while to extend, I have no idea when they'll finally bloom.

LOL Ross. I have a few coming into bud/spike/ bloom now and will be posting pictures again soon. Most of the photos posted recently have been from plants bloomed in the past two years. I do have TONS more pictures on the computer however if you wish to see more old stuff. I'll post pics from this weekends' show on Saturday.

I really am thankful for orchids. My collection is thriving (well... not the Cischweinfia. They are sulking - I think. Or maybe they just droop and rot like that ) My Bllra is blooming and spiking at same time, my Phal NOID that suffered hail damage is setting new spike, my Epidendrum mini is blooming and spiking at same time, my Haraella is doing as only it knows how - setting a new flower bud!) So all's good and the CF lights are doing their thing.

Phalaenopsis NOID, a new spike coming in
Phalaenopsis lobbii, two spikes now. Buds forming!
Phalaenopsis Malibu Bistro, one spike, Buds Forming!
Slc. Mini Beau Two buds ready to open any week now!
Masdevallia tovarensis, a few buds forming
Masdevallia rolfiana in bloom now(Have posted pics)
Haraella odorata (always in bloom, spike, or bud.)
Platystele stenostycha, its practically yellow it has so many blooms. Will it ever stop??? Hope not
And hopefully by the time that show is over, I'll be preparing for a new set of shows!
