Default Phal in bloom since November 2010

I've got a NOID phal that put up two spikes in early November 2010. I was delighted as I knew she would probably be in flower for Xmas...she was. Here I am nearly at the end of July and the same flowers are still there so that makes 8 months with each spike just getting bigger and bigger. In that time she has also had two new leaves.
While writing this to see if she has yet another leaf, (yes she has), I found a new spike coming up alongside the older ones..............these spikes by the way are HUGE, thick and bursting with flowers. I can see this one is going to be a multipronged one like the last two.....
The flowers show no signs of dying as I type and I am stunned at this phals ability to just grow and grow..!!
I've had her for 5 years.

Question PICS...!!!

Discovered the other reply option had jpg access so here you go.
A pic of the old girls current blooms
One of the spike with a smaller spike held up as a comparison, (the small one is a standard spike from any of my other Phals..!!).
One of the new leaf with the new spike in the top right.
Hope this works....:-)

A couple of mine are turning out to be nearly ever-blooming (bloom multiple times a year at least)

Goodaleara Tahitian Dancer - bloomed in Jan/Feb, been blooming now for the past month, and has another spike with buds developing ... (this is still a small plant - got it Spring '09 when it was blooming for the first time. 3" pot still, tho does need to be potted up now)

Lcn Memoria Timothy Kissoon - bloomed for the first time this past November, bloomed again March/April, and is now blooming yet again. Pleasant, but very subtle fragrance.

HI FOLKS, I am new to this forum but ask ,why do you not broaden your collection.? I live in Sydnet Australia and have orchids in flower every month of the year.
There is always something different in flower.

Welcome to Orchid Board Maxred. I totally concur with you. Even if you only have space for a dozen orchids, it is possible to have something in bloom each month of the year. A lot of the species are usually right on time, so it is not difficult to select plants to fill this method.
