Too much light on Odontioda or something else?

The Odont alliance don't like bright light and prefer cool conditions to do well, in my experience anyway and I have over a 100 0f them, sometimes a spotting and other colouring on the old growths is genetic but can also be fungus, try spraying with a spraying oil which will get rid of mites etc, do it once and then again about a week later to kill any eggs that may be there, these things work for me. Well its not in super bright light, just maybe it bit more than it needs, which is why I thought it was the sun. But it is getting cool conditions.. with a fan running as well as airconditioning.
