Something's missing...oh yeah FLOWERS! Male
Default Something is attacking my vanda!!!

Please help!! My Vanda has some sort of tumor or fungus or parasite attacking it!!! It is light green and knobby and seems to have attached itseld to the stem between two leaves. It looks like some sort of larva or an egg casing from some sort of sea creature. I've posted a picture below. Please tell me how I treat this strange malady!

Kiki-do,
Thank-you for clarifying. I suspected as much. And to think, Jorch wanted me to cut it off!? What kind of man would even joke about doing something like that. I think his sense of humor must have been twisted by all those years of "Kids In The Hall".

I thought my pretty little Phal was spiking too, but it looks like it's a third kieki!? One set of flowers followed by three new growths!! I love this little plant. At this rate, everyone I know is going to have one of their own by this time next year. This little guy reproduces faster than the tribbles on the old Star Trek series.
