The concrete slab looks like a great place to build a greenhouse. It will be much easier to keep clean than any of the other alternative floors. Mine is dirt/sand with black ground cover and I am always getting weeds that come up through it.

I noticed that the area was shaded. Will it be getting morning or afternoon sun?

Mine is gravel (and God knows how much PrimeAgra that I've spilled). A herbicide spray in the spring seems to do the trick.

It gets both. About 5 or 6 hours in the morning and about 3 hours in the afternoon.

Ray, I use a lot of sponge rok and it is always getting knocked out of the pots when watering so my greenhouse floor always has sponge rok on it.

I thought of a herbicide but I have been reluctant to spray it in the greenhouse for fear of the mist drifting, even with the fans off. Have you ever noticed in the right amount and angle of light how a very fine mist radiates from any liquid that you are spraying, be it just plain water or chemical spray.
