The last 3 look promising Doc. I have an equestris that throws a lot of Keikis. It has sent out a bloom and a leaf from the same node at the same time. It's possible in pic number 1 that the nubbin on the left may become vegetative.

Just thought I'd chime in here. The reason I believe you are getting spikes repeatedly and not keiki's is probably a timing issue. You stated something about "the last flower opening" This is what gives me pause. The ideal time for a hormone treatment to grow a Phal keiki is when blooming is done, and new growth has started. Such as a new lead leaf, or new roots. That is a very important issue in these matters that many people will overlook. Anyway I hope you have success!

Hi Doc, just wanted to throw my worth in here.
Gands is absolutely correct in saying timing is everything with keiki-pro. I set up an experiment with it using phals. Use the product to obtain the results you want. If you see new roots starting (nubbins) spray then. If you see a new spike starting, use it then, etc. I believe you have the paste form, I use the concentrate which you spray on (with one exception) and followed directions. I found it to be a great product and would recommend to anyone and, no, I do not have any connection with the company. wish I did!

Trinimom, please tell us what you are confused about? Perhaps we can help if we know the specific problem.
Please keep in mind that we can only talk about what our specific experiences are with OUR growing conditions. They are different for everyone and each of us has to find what works (or doesn't) for us. We might try something that is suggested here and it might work or it might not.
As far as Keiki-pro is concerned it is a product like any other product and has a specific purpose. Some might like to use it, others wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. I like to experiment and the loss of a plant along the way is my way of learning what works for me. Any, if something does work that's wonderful, and if it doesn't, at least we/you/us tried.
Please say around.
Al

Hey guys...wouldn't be the first time my "timing" is off Dorothy, if you see this, better stay away....far away I usually wait to apply the paste long after the last bud has opened and there are no new buds growing but maybe not as long as new vegetive growth...thanks for the direction...gives me new hope
