Question Looking for Microcoelia Plants

Hi Everyone!

Can anyone tell me where I can find some Microcoelias. I am particularly very keen on finding Microcoelia corallina (I will be more than happy to have seedpods germinated and return all but one flask to the providor of the pods if need be)

I have only been able to find two of the more common forms here which is really sad as they are fantastic plants.

Any help would be most appreciated. If there is anything I can help anyone with on the culture of African and Madagascan species, please feel free to ask, it is my specialty. hehe ..... that icon is really going to get me into trouble!

Wink

Hi Dorothy

Thanks so much for the reply. They were actually the first people I contacted and I procured their last bag of seed. Regretfully it had been harvested in 1998, had not been stored correctly and there was no live embryos at all. Talk about a stab to the heart!

It is an amazing plant. I am going to try and post a picture of a specimen plant from South Africa. I hope this works!

Hi Keegan, welcome to the board. I tend to specialize in minis, especially Angraecoides. I plan to pick your brain on these guys.
