I have a tibicinis .. I will post links to past threads on Schomburgkia as you wait for others to respond.

Looking forSchomburgkia Info
http://www.orchidboard.com/community...ple-glory.html
Question for Dorothy

Tibicinis and thomasoniana are both of the subgen Chaunoschomburgkia explained here - http://www.orchidboard.com/community...ed-yellow.html
These schomburgkia are now classified as Myrmecophilia as per IOSPE - Jay's Internet Orchid Species Photo Encyclopedia - Me - Ny

"These species were listed in Schomburgkia but have been moved to the new genus Myrmecophilia which means ant bearing, and as the name implies they have psuedobulbs that are naturally hollow to accommodate an ant colony who keep the long growing, long spiking inflorescence and buds safe from predators such as thrips, who would suck the buds dry in a second."

Here is the IOSPE's cultural info on them - IOSPE PHOTOS

Allow them to dry out ( I stress not to overwater )
Pot them in a very well draining medium or they can also be mounted
( Check out this linke of OdnaM's Tibicinis tree - http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j9...0025Medium.jpg
from this thread - http://www.orchidboard.com/community...wbie-here.html - there is some more growing info here)
Give them plenty of bright light and allow them to gradually adapt to direct sunlight.
