Well, I guess I have a slow grower with my 5-p bulbs and 2 tiny ones. Seems that patience is attached to this orchid.

Definitely don't be tempted to divide it. That might have set it back, too.

Yup, it's a young 'un. You have one really good looking mature pseudobulb. The others could be capable of blooming, but mostly just give energy to the plant, shriveled ones likely have roots not in great shape. When you get a few more p-bulbs that look that fat one in the foreground you'll get flowers. It may still take a couple of years. They really don't like being disturbed. Don't worry about outgrowing the pot, that's what they do. That lava rock should be a really good medium since it won't break down. It won't need repotting for years, if ever.

I don't that one. (I do have B. nodosa. while I do have some hybrids that have followed me home from society raffle tables, etc. , it's the species that I love...)

Not sure on that one. I liked the other one for its night fragrance.

B. nodosa is a parent of Little Stars, and many others. It is lightly fragrant at night, with the nickname of "La dama de la noche".

If it is my plant you're interested in, not for sale... been a "member of the family" for years. But worth seeking out, it's a terrific species.
