Why is there no flower porn thread? That's why we're here, isn't it?

My greenhouse today 1/29/2022. I'm sure there a lot of people here who can top this on one or a group of plants.

I like them too. They're long lasting too.

Hopefully mine will be the same when I get them to flower. They are still very small, my first attempt at deflasking. All I can say about that is......there a some still alive after 2 years and pushing new roots.

This one is Slc Jami Hollingsworth 'Sun Bulb' I purchased it at Lowes (a nationwide building supply chain in the US) in a plastic package (Besgrow?) about 6 years ago. Last year it bloomed in the spring and fall, but the flower counts were much lower. Thankfully, it tests negative for CMV and ORSV. Unfortunately, most of my Lowes purchases turned out to be virused.

Keith, that would be Better-Gro, which is the trade name of the “bag babies” put in stores by the Sun Bulb Co., of Arcadia FL.

Besgro is the trade name of the Orchiata & sphagnum supplier out of NZ.

Thanks. Yes. That's it. This was a bag baby.

I particularly like how this cross forms clumps rather than running across and off the side of the pot with one lead. I usually don't care much for the small-flowered reds, mostly because the individual flowers are not flat and with 3-4 flowers they tend to be yawners. But with four leads in a tight clump I found this year's flowering to be a much better display.

Hi everyone, my "name" is new, but I'm not. I had to change my username.

Anyway, I wanted to share a picture. My Monnierara Millennium Magic Witchcraft bloomed last week and I snapped a shot of the flowers.

Nice! I've been tempted to buy one of them many times. I may cave next time I see one for sale.
