Very few flowers are truly perfect. And when they are, we can't afford them.

I tend to buy large seedlings and bloom them out, selecting the best for breeding & propagating divisions for sale.

Fred has a section of Spotted Catt seedlings for sale. I count 24 different crosses available right now. Most are available in spring, and you should get on his mailing list for preannouncements. They sell fast.

He has used Sun Spot in previous crosses.

Many of his spotted crosses will flower the second summer you own them. I was surprised today to find a sheath on a Cattlianthe Aurantiglossa I bought in about July 2020.

Thanks, estación seca, I normally don't sign up for mailing lists, but it looks like a wise choice in this case.
Cheers,

I then pollinated it with two of my best spotted hybrids.
Please let me know when you have some seedlings to offer.

It will probably be at least 18 months before I get flasks back. I plan to produce about 100 seedlings of each cross, and then it will be 6-12 months before they are large enough to start selling.

I also plan to do 4-6 'hobby flasks' with 8-10 seedlings each. Hobby flasks will go up on Ebay when available.
