Some Renantheras would qualify.

I used to have a Ren. Kalsom 'Red Dragon' HCC/AOS (the plant that got the award). Each time it went over 7', I would cut off the top 4' or so, and place in a new basket.

Tell me how you grew it please. I have it between two huge Arachnis in their shade. Mines only 2-3 ft tall

I have some arachnis growing to 30 ft, or more. They are growing in dappled sunlight up a paperbark tree, (melaleuca).
Also have vanilla orchids growing to 20 ft in a macadamia tree and arundina to 7 ft in dappled shade.
The vanilla is amazingly fast growing; in just over 3 years, one is a tick over 20 ft.

Sorry, but the photos are too big, from 4mb to 6mb each. Plus, forgot how to upload…

personally i have always gravitated towards smaller... typical bonsai mentality....but occasionally i like big plants and my girl does as well. our vanilla prolly doesn’t really fit into what you are describing, that thing just keeps getting longer! about every month i put a net screw hook in the wall and we train up the leads....it’s almost to the top of our biggest window now and she is in love with it. i like it too, but will like it even more if it gives us flowers one day

edit: added pic for context and content

My bamboo orchid is well over my head so I call it giant.

There is nothing scientific about this, I assure you
Shoot I always saw them as maybe 3' tall growing wild in Hawaii. Is yours in full sun?

I grew mine in full sun, and they usually get about 7 1/2 ft tall, and if they are really happy the inflorescense will branch so I would have 4 blooms open at once per plant.
