Dimorphorchis Lowii root rot and leaf loss

I have a dirmorphorchis lowii seedling that has been with me for over a year and it has been doing really well for me.
Recently, I noticed some mold in the pot and hence I decided to repot.
The plant was previously in a full bark mixture and I switched it to a layered setup with chunky bark bark and sphagnum moss channels. I do this for my self-watering setup since I travel quite a bit and do not have anyone who can water the plant for me. I usually adjust the watering for the few months after a change in setup so the plant can adapt. The pot is also well ventilated to help adaptation.
Unfortunately, after the repot the plant has become dehydrated, has lost several leaves and I can see that it has root rot through the transparent pot.
It has been over 5 months since the repot and over this period it has lost 3 leaves and the next one is yellowing. I can see the some leaves are dehydrated. I am not sure what to do. Should I put it back into bark and hope that it will recover or wait it out and hope it will recover.
I am not sure if my pictures are helpful but I have added them just in case. I have a picture of the whole plant. A close up of the root system with an arrow to show a dead root. And one to show signs of dehydration.
I am worried that I may lose the plant slowly and would appreciate any advice on what to do.
