Market rate of Neomoorea

So, I have been looking for a mature Neomoorea for a long time, and I finally found a guy who claims he has neomooreas he has been growing for 20 years. He must of divided them, because he has 4, 7-inch pots, each with about 4-5 bulbs (large). They look healthy. But he wants 200 for them.

Now, I know these are notoriously slow growers, difficult to find...but is this a normal price? I did see a really crappy one being sold for 85 British pounds once.

In any case, thoughts?

You probably should be patient and/or do more searching, as I've seen them in the $35-$50 range for mature plants.

Ecuagenera often sells them, but not blooming size. Where did you read they're slow growing? The one I have from them grows as fast as other orchids. It was priced at $22.00.

The listings I saw online were all sold out, but still had pricing shown.

Mine is in a 5"pot that I bought at our auction 4-5yrs ago. Gal could not get it to bloom and once again I thought I was its savior. Nice big pbulbs and long stiff leaves. Mostly shade with good water and fert. but maybe your hot temps are the key. Tell it like it is...TY.
