i have never taken any exception to anyone's nomenclature nor grammar nor information. I hope that i have not come across as doing such. I am NOT careful about names and i really only include them as a way to know about a plant and so that the people who care about such things can have their info.
That's no problem DC. I'm still on the case hahaha.
Thank you, but that's kind of my point. No way am I paying $10 for a two leafed cutting that may or may not have a 1" root attached. It's a philodendron for PeteSake. Currently hyped to sell at ridiculous prices. Ain't happening.
well free cuttings are also available if you have friends in warm wet places......oh wait!!!! YOU DO!!!
your point is still valid, though

Well, my friend in a warm, wet climate needs to send more cuttings. I'm very impatient. And remember, the one sent was pretty much toasty. It's having a super hard time in recovery. Just go dig up one from a neighbor's yard, and let's get this show on the road!
This thread seems to have gone off the rails into the corn field! 🤣
Rounding back to the initial topic, I have a vanda that I have been "babying" this summer. Overnight soaks and all day in the sun. She put out a longish root(and many more) with many branches, all are heading toward the shade.
