So i have had a few ideas about something like this and Keysguy's recent comment

got me thinking about how to execute and what it might allow me to do
i first had the idea when reading about Disa plants and it has resurfaced throughout the years in different ideas.
I thought about allowing run-off rainwater to flow from my tank's overflow but that would not work for half of the year give or take and then i started thinking about something like an ebb and flow table but on a slight angle. this led me to think about a sprinkler above an angled table (to add the element of spray for additional cooling) and an Arduino type timer to have it on for only an interval of the each hour.
has anyone tried such a setup or anything similar?
