Here's my first podangis that I bought last spring. 2 of the 3 spikes have started blooming! I see that I need to up the watering (wrinkled leaves), I moved it to coarser bark to have it dry out quickly but shouldwwater more frequently to compensate...

Thanks! I really didn't think that it was anything special, there are so many photos online of plants with multiple spikes

I think my care often borders on neglect... I'm so afraid of overwatering (since it's potted and known to be prone to rot) that I keep it on the dry side, but repotting it is meant to improve that. It lives inside with my other orchids and gets somewhat bright but diffused light (I'd say between Phal and Onc level) from a south facing window. Temps are in the 60s in the winter, and 70-80F in the summer. Humidity is 40-60%. Basically it just has to deal with my living room conditions. In the winter I treat it like my sphag mound potted Neofinetia by giving it occasional light waterings, and frequent misting of the surface roots in between. Whatever I'm doing, it seems to mostly work. For now!
