BD ----- thanks so much for your time with mentioning all those excellent methods that you learned. This I'm sure can help a lot of other growers (myself included) cut down on or even avoid the potential issues. Really greatly appreciated.
I think that's really good that your paphs bloom about the same time each year. It may well be seasonal - especially since you keep getting that same pattern.
I agree about light being too bright for say delenatii and maybe vietnamense too. My small vietnamense plants have been able to handle gentle/mild direct morning sun - but would likely be destroyed by direct late morning sun. So I put them in a particular spot in the growing area that only gets the gentle morning sun.
That's awesome how there is a paph nursery close to you.
