Just a thought... I have more and more found that my Catts do better in baskets with large bark than in pots. Wood baskets better than plastic, and hanging wood baskets best of all. Best performance is after they grow over the side of whatever they are in. I think the roots just want to be free. Potentially a "management" issue, of course.

Roberta has hit the nail on the head for me. I create that situation artificially by filling a pot with lava rock and Brocken other pots. To the catt it might as well be outside hanging on and they thrive
