Default Aren't They Supposed to Open?

I posted pics of this several days ago. I expected the lip to open more. So what's going on? Not enough light...water....temp???? What?

Humidity is usually about 55% to as high as 80+% in the GH on rainy days

have you seen this plant bloom before? How old is it? How's the air movement, is it getting enough? I know plants don't "shake" open in the wind, but if it's dead stagnant, I would think that would have some impact on development of flowers. How are the leaves and psuedobulbs?

It could be a genetic defect, otherwise it could be conditions aren't what it likes?
