So a Kroger phal I got about 5 years ago developed a basal keiki maybe 3 years ago. I can't remember. It has grown to about the same size as the mother plant. And it flowered last year. I desperately needed to repot them so I did that last week (way too late in season I know😣
. I sat there debating on separating them or maybe putting in them in two separate pots. But I decided to keep them together since they seemed nice and cozy with each other.
Now I wonder if that was the wrong choice. My question. Can keeping them together prevent them from reaching their potential? Double inflourescence? I'm not 100% sure but I think the mother plant had a double originally. But I know for sure that each last year only sent out one inflourescence.
Just some ponderings😁
