Lusidia discolor-question for breeding - Orchid Board

I have a Lusidia discolor but i want to know where to find any similar genera to breed it with.I live in Hawaii,so there are a lot of places to get orchids but i havent found any other jewel orchids!! What other jewels are there!

There are a lot of other jewels. Not any other ludisias that I know of, though. Try anoectochilus, dossinia, or macodes. I don't know how far apart they are, I do know that dossinia and anoectochilus are compatible.

Yeah,I figured it was macodes or dossinia ,and Ludisia discolor is the only species in its genus.My only problem is that I cant find a macodes or dossinia.There really is no point in breeding them I guess because I would have no use for the seeds and could not grow them in flasks (I cant find agar ANYWHERE)Thanks for your help though!
