Vanilla Tahitensis vs. Vanilla Planifolia
In my search for a new supplier for Vanilla Tahitensis(orchidboard.[com]/community/beginner-discussion/100698-vanilla-tahitensis-exotic-orchids.html#post897224) for more details... I encountered a very interesting question about the matter on social media. The question is how can you tell the difference between Planifolia and Tahitensis? I'm aware of the main differences between the beans, but can you tell the difference between planifolia and tahitensis and planifolia and pompona just by looking at them? Someone has already tried to sell me something clearly labeled as planifolia and apparently didn't even notice. So if I do find "other" species of vanilla, what should I look out for in order to avoid being scammed?
P.S. What is the difference between Vanilla Planifolia and Vanilla Madagascariensis?
