I've had this same issue. I have just now been able to access the board. I usually receive email notifications concerning threads I have commented on. There has been nothing at all since Friday. Very odd.

I've been using tapatalk (which I enjoy much better than accessing via browser) lately, and have had issues since Sunday night.

I got a couple of the email notifications about new posts in threads I have previously commented on over the weekend, even though I could not get onto the board. Even using the link provided in the emails I was not able to get on.

I did send a reply to one of those emails, not knowing if anybody was going to receive it or not. The emails come from the address forum@orchidboard.com. Does anybody know if that is the email address where we should report a problem like this if/when it happens again?

It was getting scary that I couldn't get on for almost two whole days! In the short time I've been here, I've become accustomed to browsing the board several times a day, even if I don't post anything.

Sad, isn't it? I used to play solitare during the news, now I look at the OB. Someone insinuated I/we am/are addicted. Plus, it's something out of our control and no one likes that 😁

I guess I'm starting to sound like a broken record (haha, I just realized how archaic that saying is!) but I have been unable to get on the board and was receiving the Database Error message since Monday evening, May 8th, and it's now Friday morning, May 12th. That's the longest spell so far.

I just got an email from tapatalk yesterday, saying that orchidboard needs to update their "plug in"........whatever that is, in order to be compatible again. I hope they do, much more enjoyable perusing the site through that app

Finally, OB is back! Have been five days ore so without access. Database error ...

I've not been experiencing this problem since Monday 8th though apparently many are having problems. There certainly has not been much activity this week.

Last week was another story for me, I thought it might be down for good! Whatever the problem is, hope it is dealt with soon as members quit trying after days at a time.
