I was communicating with Sonya while on the phone with Comcast. I know OB was working. Convincing Comcast was a problem.

I know squat about this stuff but I think OB was flagging the IP address? Something to do with DNS?

If you work for a cable/ISP, please don't take my comments personally. If you are high up in cable/ISP, perhaps think why the industry is universally vilified.

I have AT&T and I got the same issue a few hours ago. I just checked once today, though, as I was busy. I do not think it has anything to do with one's computer or browser. It might be more that the site is having trouble accessing information from its database. In this scenario, the reason some people would have problems and not everyone probably lies in the way the information is stored.

Happened to me intermittently throughout the day, both directly through the website and tapatalk. By the evening I couldn't get on via either 1, whether it was through our Comcast wireless at home, or directly through Verizon service. They did post on their FB page yesterday they had a big problem, so I have up until this morning, seems to be fine now

For most of the day yesterday, I was unable to open OB at all. Got that Database Error message. When it happened previously, at least the board was opening; I just couldn't view any posts.

At one point, I Googled OB and clicked on the link brought up, and I got on then, but just that one time. That same trick did not work a second time.

FWIW, my internet server is AT&T, I am using IE 11 as a browser, and I access OB from a desktop computer. I'm not having any problems with any other sites I visit.

Well, I don't think it was our carriers as the problem as I had no luck connecting to OB from my iPhone Tapatalk or from by desktop Google Chrome up here in Canada during the late afternoon yesterday until past midnight.

It looked like there was data base maintenance or server issue on their end. Luckily it's fixed and I didn't go on a full blown orchid addiction withdrawal!! ☺

I couldn't access it via my phone or work computer at all on Monday but it was fine on my home computer.

It happened to me again starting Saturday evening, May 8. Same message, Database Error. Sometime late Sunday, it was a different message that said Incompatibility-something. (I've forgotten already because I didn't write it down.) Then there was a third, different, message that is a more common one I see from my server that says something to the effect that the website cannot be found.

Anybody else have any issues getting to the board over the weekend?

Oh, yeah. Started last night. Said it was forbidden 403 or incompatible 401. Just working now.

Same here. I tried to open OB around Saturday night but got the database error page. That continued to around Sunday evening. This morning when I tried to open it I received a different message-it was something along the lines of "403-Access prohibited on this server/Access forbidden"
It cleared up around 10 AM EST.

Me too. I had this error message for most of the day yesterday, and then last night and this morning.
