Site loads faster on desktop July 4 2016

As in the title. I haven't had any long delays today using my desktop. The number of users shown at the bottom of the home page is not lower than usual.

Earlier, using my mobile phone, there were the usual long page loads.

I am, however, frequently getting an error page as soon as I click on an Orchid Board link, on the site or in a notification E-mail:

"The www.orchidboard.com page isn’t working

www.orchidboard.com redirected you too many times."

As soon as I hit the Reload button the page loads.

I've noticed since I joined that just randomly sometimes pages will have a large delay loading (on my laptop). It doesn't seem to correlate with traffic, and I can get a bunch of fast loads, a slow, back to fast, etc.

I do think it _might_ have been better the last few days, though I could be imagining it....

I'm experiencing the same as Lady Oscar using my Notebook and my iPad. Some days are better than others.

It's really too bad that the administration seems to be AWOL. I wish that users had an opportunity to donate to an upgrade that would solve some of these problems.
