Ha Ha! That's like only eating out of the dumpster behind Applebees even if sit-down dining at the Four Seasons were free!
Maybe we should have a Project consisting of people upgrading to a modern browser.
Microsoft is phasing out Internet Explorer.

Why wait until the last minute when you can switch now, to a browser that works much better than IE ever will?
All the browser controls on all the browsers are just about the same from the user's perspective. The main differences have to do with how intrusively their owners track your every Internet move.
Google's Chrome is the most intrusive. Google is in the business of collecting your browsing and search history, and your interests, matching this to your real identity, and selling this to advertising companies.
Firefox has a lot of options which allow users to preserve some privacy and block intrusive advertising, and many more things can be installed into it.
Opera has some great features on mobile devices, which is why I use it on my Android phone. The text reformats to fit onto the screen when you enlarge or shrink the page. No more scrolling side to side to read Web pages. You can use their free service to compress your Web pages so viewing them uses up much less of your monthly data. And Opera is in Norway, so stricter Norwegian privacy laws govern what they can do with your information. Opera was recently bought by a Chinese security software company, but the company remains physically in Norway, and they have stated they will continue to build products to EU law. (Norway is not in the EU but is a member of the European Economic Area, subject to European rules.)
You don't even have to get rid of IE to try a different browser. You can have all of them on your computer at the same time. You can even run all of them at the same time.
