Glossary Updates - Orchid Board

We need some. Like an entry for CHC.

Not that most people will actually go to the glossary and look things up. But there are those few who do!

Well, I made an attempt to add CHC - but it doesn't look like it was actually added. An admin may be needed ...

I tried adding CHC and it said it already existed and I couldn't add a duplicate... but I can't see it in the list.

Maybe yours did work in some way Sonya, but it's not showing for some reason. I'll see if I can work out why.

In the Admin control panel I can see that CHC is an entry, added by Sonya today but the entry is 'offline'. I can't work out how to change it to 'online' like the other entries though.

There are six entries in the offline state. I'll see if I can work anything out or ask Marty if I can't work it out.

OK, I think I've worked it out. I have made CHC 'online' and a couple of others that were added by people over the last few years.

If you want to add one then use the 'Glossary Tools' option in the pink bar of each entry. Once you've added it post here to say you have and I'll go an enable it.

Can I get an edit?

The process is rather cumbersome. How about if we leave terms here and a Mod or Admin enters them? Not that you all don't do enough as it is. At your leisure, kind of thing?

It's possible to do an edit, choose the option from the same drop down menu as the create, just make sure you choose it on the right entry.

I think anyone can edit any entry, but regardless of who does it the entry will need an admin to confirm it before the change shows up. (which is why it's worth at least posting here that you've done it, so I know to go take a look).

Anyway, I've made the tweak to PrimeAgra in the Leca entry.
