Tapatalk via iPhone Small Photos

Hey guys-- anyone else finding that in the past week or so the only option to upload photos via tapatalk are incredibly small-- as in so small that they're almost useless inmost screens? For instance, if I want to upload an iPhone 5S full res photo my only option is something along the lines of 300+ pixels, which is nothing. Any idea whats going on? Also, when uploading tapatalk puts on a tapatalk watermark... not cool.

Yes, I'm finding the same thing, but I think that's a tapatalk issue. I've stopped using tapatalk to upload photos and just do it from my laptop now.

The way each website impliments tapatalk can vary, however I don't believe Marty has changed anything recently.

This website uses quite an old version of the tapatalk plugin, I don't know if tapatalk have changed some compatibility option with that. I'm just guessing though

I can post in other orchid forums as I've always have with much larger resolution. At orchid boards resolution it isn't even worth the bits and bytes so share the photos. I'm able to post large res at big leaf and all my other forums that are not orchid related. So if it's tapatalk why does it seem to affect only this forum? I'm not accusing but the situation suggests it isn't the app. Perhaps it's not the forum either but something else? It's frustrating because I use my apps almost exclusively. Guess I'll have to find another way.

I would suspect it's due to the old tapatalk plugin if that's the case.

I don't know the answer, but it COULD be the fact that our forum is on an old version of the tapatalk plugin. When your newer version of the iPhone app communicates with the older plugin something might get confused. When you use other forums which have a newer version of the plugin you don't get the same problem.

As I say I don't know. In a moment I'm going to try running some tests posting a photo from my phone to this thread and see how it come out. Mine is Android though so might be slightly different and not a true test for what you are seeing.

Marty was wanting to do some updates to the server a few months ago, and I have mentioned to him about the old plug-in and whether it can be updated. However as we know he's been very ill in hospital recently so it could be a while before he's well enough to contemplate that again.
