Since OB is one of the few places that can mention other orchid places and in light of what happened to the Orchidgeeks, everyone should be aware of the OB on Facebook

This was set up by Sue who was our main moderator at the time, and it was meant to encourage people to come here. I'm not sure who maintains it now, but it might be Marty our site owner.

I think there are some people who post on there and not on here, I must admit I forget about it a lot of the time and I think most people who post a lot here don't post much there.

The little 'widget' down the side of orchid board that shows facebook 'likes' of Orchid Board is showing people who have liked that facebook page.

In the past it's been somewhere people have gone if this main site is down, to say "where is OB, can anyone else get to it" and that sort of thing. It's also somewhere that posted when our server was going down in January so could be a good place to keep informed about that sort of thing.

As I understand it, it was a server migration that took longer than expected. It's been back up for several days now.
