Default How to stay logged on?

I want to be able to stay logged in without having to be active all the time. This because as soon as I leave the the computer and do something else for five minutes, I get logged out. When I log in again all the new posts are not marked as new anymore which makes them harder to find.

And since I have this tendency to stumble upon spammers I like to see which posts are new and which aren't. This way I can find even more of them.

Sooo, is there some setting I should change to be able to stay logged in?

1) make sure you tick "remember me" in the login box.
2) clear your cookies out, restart your browser, try again.
3) make sure you accept cookies from OrchidBoard.

If that doesn't fix it, I'm not sure, sorry!

It was that simple huh? Now I'll just tick the "remember me" box...

Thanks a lot!

Guess who's feeling quite slow at the moment.

Well it's understandable, if your brain is so full from thinking about orchids, (which based on your OB threads you seem to do a lot of! lol) then there's no room for anything else!

I seem to have a lot of those 'duh' moments myself...

*cough*
What OB threads? Have posted any threads in the forum? I have no idea what your talking about...

I'm just a tiny-whiny bit obsessed. Just a little.

Me too. I'm a typical "There's an on button on the printer?" type of person to quote one of my favourite stand-up comedians, Eddie Izzard.

You obsessed? nah.... I'm really no better, although the 'new to orchids buying craziness' has tapered off. A little bit. Sort of. Going on OB is also what helps me control my need for orchids. If I can't buy any, reading/writing about them is good therapy. And if my post count is anything to go by, I'm been needing lots of therapy....

I'm waiting for it to taper off before I fill the entire flat with orchids.

Hmm... yes it seems to be the case. So all I've to do is write as many posts as you have and I'll be "cured".

"Remember me" is not the same as "keep me logged in" so I can imagine the confusion. However, the end result is "keep me logged in"!
