Unable to connect

If this is in the wrong place perhaps one of the admins can move it or delete it. Just wanted to let those who have been trying to contact me know that I've been unable to get on OB for almost a week - finally figured out that I needed to reconfigure my router.

It was very frustrating. OB seemed to be the only site the router was blocking and just seemed to happen all of a sudden.

Hi Ron - can you let us know what was misconfigured, if you're with ComCast and how you fixed it? BikerDoc has the same (or similar) problem - there are several discussions on the OB facebook page about it.

Glad to see you back!! Of all the websites you could ahve had issues with, it had to be OB!

Over on Facebook some of us are trying to help Howard (BikerDoc) work through a similar problem, he can't get to OB and a few other sites...

For some reason my router was blocking OB and only OB. I had to get help from Netgear's technical people, though my son-in-law could have helped as well (you probably need a techie). We disconnected the router from the modem, connected it to the computer with a cable, and then redid the settings, reconnected the modem and router and recylced them and I was fine. Howard probably needs someone who help him do all that. It was too complicated for me to remember all the steps and too long a process to write it all down, but he needs to reconfigure his router.
