Yes I noticed it too. In the morning it's not to bad, but in the evening it's bad. They seem to register every second.

Cathy I think you are on to something about facebook ,today I saw a new member with the name of facebookgames and a link in the signature line saying the same .

Wow, seems like the spam is coming in at a fevered pitch. Now there are even people posting pretty explicit sex stories as spam.

ewww! I wonder if they have turned the servers into bots seems odd so many are registering and it says on the main page they are online but on the profile not .. dunno .Just seems stupid to post that junk here ..

I find it embarassing and shameful that so many of these seem to originate in Canada. That is not who we are!

I do not think most are from Canada , they are using proxy servers out of Canada but not from there, a lot of them are from other countries Russia ect .
We know our Canadian neighbors are not like them .

Sorry guys. I was so busy over the weekend I didn't have chance to log in and when I did I found masses of spam reports plus some spam that had not been spotted yet.

I think I've cleared them all up. As you said some nasty stuff.

The proxy servers they use do not come from Canada, but the default country flag when you register is Canada and they just don't bother to change it. That's why it looks like the spammers come from Canada.

I do think we have several 'bots' which are creating all these registrations, and it really is getting hard to keep on top of. We're talking about some possible measures, but we'll need to get Marty on board and Marty to have some time to look at the options available to him.
