I like the idea of not being able to post links or pictures until you have made a certain numbr of posts, maybe like 10. Even though it might take some work, having captchas should make the automated spam bots unable to create themselves. I also think for sure now that there must be something one this site in the forums that is targeting us specifically. I am now also a member of Orchid Geeks and the Big Leaf Orchids Forum, and I have seen absolutely NO traces of spam. . . . .

they are targeting certain threads posting a friendly post, then posting spam ..

It's pretty bad lately. I banned already quite a lot.
Even ones with strange languages, and dirty pics.
I spotted him already twice.

Glad you are catching them . I was told a lot of it is Russian spammers using proxy servers ..

It's almost getting kind of a game. Everyday I'm checking if I see any strange names. Than checking where they come from, or at leest they say they do.
Most of them do post nothing. The russian guy I did already see twice. Every time he posts porn photo's.

Yes I know. I have seen already a lot of infractions from you. Luckily there are a lot of us trying to keep our
