Why a one-day delete? People view posts over days, weeks, or even months. Or longer - one of the beauties of the Board is that posts are searchable from the beginning. Not all posts have "archival" value but many do. It is disappointing to use the Search function to find a post with information and pictures that one is interested in, only to discover that the images are missing. (A downside of using external services... images that are stored on the Board stay here, external sources sometimes yes and sometimes no)

Oh, I didn’t understand that the photo would disappear once posted, if it was deleted from PostImage. Now the response from RBarata makes sense. Duh. Learning a lot.
