I have 5 posts so far but it doesn't seem to let me post images that are 500x400

---------- Post added at 08:50 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:45 AM ----------

Well after I posted the last message, it allowed me to post images. I guess it is post 6 then you can do images

Interesting to know. The limit didn't exist when I was at that number so I've never actually been able to test it carefully. The other thing might be that sometimes the forum combines two of your posts (as with your two above) and I'm not sure if it then counts them as two or one (I suspect one).

Anyway, glad you've got it working.

I could be wrong, but it seems to me Orchidboard's software automatically resizes attachments. I just pick the photos, which are all larger than 100k, hit upload, and they all end up being right around the maximum allowed size.

I am having an issue lately , when i take a photo on my phone it saves normally if i send to skydrive , still no issue , after i have created the thread and uploaded it , it shows the name and pic of file , but once the thread is created and is displayed , all pics show up" sideways "???
not sure if its a simple fix , i have even gone back to original and twisted it left or right , but still same result occurs . Anyone else have this or have a fix for this ?. thanks

I've seen issues with iPhones and sideways pictures. All the pictures and videos my sister sends me show landscape even when taken portrait. I think it's a problem with Windows not understanding the portrait/landscape setting that iPhones use, as the same photos/videos show correctly on my sisters Mac.

I've also recently had problems from my Android phone. I think (and I'm sort of making an educated guess) that the rotation settings in the photo are again not understood by some older software (including this website).

I've solved it by rotating the picture in some windows software, saving it, closing it, then opening it and rotating it back again and saving it again. That seems to force rotation setting that are understood by the website.

You should be able to post more than one. As Sonya asks, what method are you using. Is it Tapatalk, direct on the board, and if through the board which method are you using?

Well I guess I'm posting direct toy he board. I sign in, go to the forum, select new thread, write my message, go to manage files, select browse for each picture I want to post, each is shown as selected then select upload. That is when only 1 picture is uploaded. Each picture is between 90and 105 Kbps and is a jpg for met taken with my Ipad.

I have used this procedure before without problems.
