I really like this forum as well. But can I make a suggestion for the mods/admins?
It's probably time to create a separate forum section just for mass market NOID phals. When one is new to orchids in general, it can be quite intimidating to go to the Beginner section and see posts about orchids with unpronounceable names (to a newbie, anyways). This is why people post questions about the same problems over and over - the existing categories are too broad to be easily searcheable.

Interesting read and a great forum, I have been a member for some time.
I also use other forums too and am now a moderator of the UKorchidforum which is in the process of a few changes to widen its appeal.
Thats what I love about this hobby and forums is you can flit between them, sharing, interacting and learning from others or just generally being nosey seeing what others are doing with their orchids!
The UK orchid forum would love to have some of you visit to share your knowledge, ideas and give another perspective.
Cheers Keith

Thanks for the likes, RosieC, would it be a problem if I put this/similar post somewhere on the OB?

Not a problem, we don't mind you talking about other forums here and anything that widens the appeal of orchids in general is all for the good

Hi. I another newbie and currently have a serious case of orchid addiction. My collection has grown exponentially from phaleanopsis to bulbos, Paphs, and a few more unusual catesetums and others. Would like to ask for advice now and then and share some pix. Is it unusual for one catesetum pseudobulb to bloom twice?
