Don't worry Doc, we would make sure you didn't get banned 
Last time we did a ban on a range of addresses we did a check of who else was coming from that range. In the moderator control panal we can search by IP address to see which users come from a certain address or even range of addresses. We found one genuine member in the blocked range, but he hadn't come from that IP in a while and had other non-blocked IPs which recent posts had come from. So we went ahead with the block and double checked that member was still posting after it.

The term Wow Gold is from a gamers web site in Canada type in... spammer wow gold .. it is the 2nd hit in the search ..  |

Thanks for the idea Gin. On my search, most of the front page has to do with that. There's even one listing that says something about a plug-in the deal with that spammer, but prolly for the gaming system.
Leaves me to wonder, maybe we got infected here by someone who is also a gamer? Kind of hard to imagine, but not within the realms of our idiosyncrasies (orchidelirium/gameraholic). |

The infractions come through as emails to the moderators, so I had a couple of emails as soon as I got up this morning to log in and delete them.
