I've banned 50 odd users today who were trolling the board and not yet posts. I probably got the one you spotted Gin.

Some of them were WOW GOLD ones, others were a new type which Gin pointed out the pattern of to me a few days back.

I don't think it's that they are from Canada, but that the Canada flag is the default. User from Canada are not all spammers just that a lot of the spammers have the Canada flag.

Hey Rosie, and others. Is it possible for Marty or someone to auto-ban and delete posts that contain certain key words? the wow gold is easy, but I didn't know if that was an option. You figure they'd get the message when the post is deleted after 5 minutes, but insanity is a beautiful thing. Just seems we are overrun with them lately.

Thanks for the latest infractions you've given by the way. Unfortunately I can't give them a full ban, but you've stopped them posting which is the main thing and I'm grouping together all infraction posts to have a list of names that could do with a clean up to fully remove from the members list.

zxyqu, I'm not sure if that is possible or not. It's definitely Marty that would have to do that, no options at my end. However running something like that all the time could possibly cause a slowdown problem on the server, and doing it only once a day would probably mean we had deleted them anyway by then. Probably a question for me to ask Marty when he's got a chance, but I'll leave it till he's not quite so busy as he seems just now.
