subscriptions notification

I am not getting notified of update posts to subscriptions. I check the box, but when I leave the page the check mark leaves too. How do you get notification when someone posts? Thanks

change your "default thread subscription mode" then scroll to the very bottom of the page and click on "save changes"

user cp - then under "settings and options" > choose options - scroll to "messaging and notifications" - the second box in that category is "default thread subscription mode" - there is a drop down menu there you can choose which option you like - then scroll to bottom of page and click "save changes"

I think that should do it

I chose instant notification and saved, still not working. Is there anything else or is it automatic from there.? Thanks
