When I come here, I am automatically in the “forum” view - individual categories, not posts. Clicking on a category allows you to view all of the posts within.

“New posts” are those that have updates that have not been read - or marked as read - by you. “Today’s posts” are those that have been updated this (server) clock day, whether you’ve already read them or not.
