In view of the recent events on the forum I thought it would be a good time to remind everyone of the forum rules, that can be found in this thread:
Forum Guidlines (and a few forum rules/terms of use that you need to know)
I especially want to point out this paragraph:
Quote:
- Abuse & Bad Language
By abuse we mean any comments used to embarrass, threaten, cause distress, harass or cause discomfort to another user. Anything offensive or using obscene language, defamatory comments, abusive or hateful comments, flaming, racially or sexually discriminating or any other sort of discrimination, pornographic, sexual or suggestive comments.
Sometimes your comments may be read as abusive when you didn't mean them to be. We understand that and may warn you but not take any other action, however repeated offences will lead to additional action being taken.
Anything in your user profile which is considered abusive will be removed.

From the beginning, one thing that Orchidboard took pride in was the friendly atmosphere and zero tolerance for nastiness towards other members. This is still what Orchidboard stands for, so I would like to apoligize to everyone who had to suffer through or read the verbal abuse and bad language we've had recently. The person in question has now been banned twice, and will continue to be banned each time he tries to come back with a new account.
What should you do if you come across posts/threads that break forum rules?
Whether a post is outright offensive, openly contains spam, or you are not sure if something needs to be done about it, please don't hesitate to report the post (little warning triangle icon at top right of every post) or PM me or one of our future new moderators (will be announced when it it all arranged and official).
