As a lot of long time members know, the forum has been running with a very reduced moderator team for the past couple years due to the previous mods moving on to other, non-orchid related interests. While I did what I could to carry out the bare minimum of housekeeping here, it was far from being an ideal situation. It's always good to have more eyes to monitor all the threads for problems and to help out members with their forum related questions.
You can now contact any one of us when you have questions or run into problems. For example we can help you with general things like deleting/renaming/moving posts and threads. For account related issues please contact an administrator (me, at the moment).
As a reminder, if you are concerned about the content of a post or thread, you can always use the 'report post' button located in the bar above each post, which sends an automated notification to the moderators. You can also send one of us a PM of course!
Please be patient while they learn the ropes, sometimes it might take longer than expected for something to happen! And of course they have to get used to their new super moderator capes, they're quite easy to trip on!
